Look up tides, swell, wind, bar crossings and general weather forecasts.
Continue to monitor whilst on the water, conditions can change quickly.
Fuel & Water
Ensure you have sufficient fuel and enough drinking water for everyone on board.
Report your trip
Let someone know where you are going and when you plan to return.
Marine Radio
Log on & off with your local volunteer marine rescue/coast guard group.
